Wagyu Sires

Our herd started with the genetics of original bulls from Japan that, thanks to modern breeding practices, are still in use today. Legends such as Itomichi, Itohana, and Judo along with other great sires like Dai 7 Itozakura and World K’s Sanjirou are the basis of the 1862 herd. We’re also proud of our fullblood descendants who continue to carry the highly desired dam lines of Kinu, Nayori, the great Suzutani, and more. The following bulls have all been bred from 100% fullblood Japanese Wagyu once they arrived in the US. They’ve set the standards for size, structure, and productivity that have helped us gain great success in preserving and perfecting the Wagyu breed.
